The Higher Education Council decides on the dates of the final registration of candidate students who have not yet graduated from the Secondary Education Institution. In line with the decisions of the relevant institution, your final registration procedures are completed.

How and where the final registrations will be made, the registration dates, the procedures for the required documents are published on the web page of the Registrar’s Office after the results are announced by ÖSYM. Please follow the announcements from the link below:

In order to get permission, you must apply to the Faculty Dean's Office of the program you enrolled in, with the necessary documents after you complete your registration.

Since you cannot be registered in two different higher education institutions at the same time in accordance with the relevant legislation, attention should be paid to this situation when requesting permission.

Having a medical excuse documented with a medical report, having had to suspend your education due to natural disasters, having a state of detention, having a state of conviction, being enlisted, existence of economic reasons that prevent you from continuing your education, Other reasons that arise and accepted by the Faculty or Conservatory Board, you can request a registration suspension (permission).

If you request permission due to the reasons stated in the legislation, you must apply to the Faculty Dean's Office / Conservatory Directorate with the necessary documents within thirty days at the latest from the occurrence of the event.
You can also take leave of absence during the semester due to unpredictable or unknown reasons such as illness, natural disasters, detention, conviction and abolition of military service suspension.
If the stated reasons arise during your exam period, the same procedure will be applied. If you have to take leave during the semester, you will be considered on leave from the beginning of the semester.

Except for the reasons listed above, you can request leave of absence only at the beginning of the semester. Except for sudden illness and unexpected situations, applications made after these periods are not processed.

A student is allowed a maximum of four semesters in total during the education period. However, apart from the permissions granted for economic reasons, the duration of the permission granted by the Faculty / Conservatory Board of the registered Faculty / Conservatory may be extended if other reasons continue. The duration of the leaves given due to military service, detention and conviction is as long as the duration of these cases.

Students who have been absent for more than two years during the entire education period due to psychological disorders and who certify this situation with a health report from a health institution, are asked to get a medical report again if they want to continue their education. After this report is reviewed by the relevant board of directors, it is decided whether the student can continue his education or not.

Leaves for health reasons, leaves due to natural disasters, leaves due to detention, leaves due to military service, leaves due to convictions, and leaves due to interruption of education and training do not count from the duration of education and additional periods, and these periods are not taken into account in the calculation of the maximum education period and all your student rights are reserved.

You cannot participate in education and training activities and exams while you are on leave. When your leave is finished, you will continue your education starting from the education situation you left on leave.

Permissions granted for economic reasons, permissions for foreign language education abroad and other reasons acceptable by the faculty / conservatory board and are stated to be counted in the education period in the decision are included in the maximum education period.

The documents given by the students on leave to enter the University are not returned.

You must submit your petition regarding the cancellation of your Erasmus permit to your Faculty Dean / Conservatory Directorate. In line with the decision of the Board of Faculty /Conservatory regarding your leave cancellation, you can complete your course registrations on the Student Information System (ÖBS) until the end of the course add-drop week.

If you want to cancel your registration voluntarily, you must apply to the Registrar's Office (ÖİDB) with a petition.

A document indicating that you do not have any debt to the library must be attached to your petition.

The student may be dismissed due to the failure to pay the tuition fee / fee for four consecutive years and not renew the registration.

You do not need to do a deregistration. When you transfer to another higher education institution by transfer, your student file containing all the documents related to your studentship is sent to the relevant higher education institution upon the official letter of the institution you are transferred to.

Students who are expelled from higher education institutions according to the provisions of the Higher Education Institutions Student Discipline Regulations are dismissed from the University.

If you cannot complete your education in the Prep Class at the end of the second (2) year Summer Education, if you fail to submit one of the English Language Proficiency certificates, your relationship with the institution will be terminated.

Your representative, whom you have given a power of attorney through a notary, can perform your deregistration by presenting her/his identity card or identity card that can legally replace it. S/he can receive your diploma from the Registrar’s Office(OIDB).

In the power of attorney, it must be stated that the person who is representative is "authorized to do the deregistration at ITU".

Only your high school diploma is returned from the documents you give during final registration to the university.
