The acceptance and evaluation of the applications are made by the Administrative Board of Faculty by taking the opinion of the relevant department chair.

During the summer term, you can take courses from both ITU and another university with the decision of your Administrative Board of Faculty.

Except for health and safety reasons, the duration of special students is limited to two semesters intermittently or continuously.

You can apply if you have completed at least one semester in the program you are enrolled in and meet the requirements specified in ITU Special Student Directive.

Students who take courses from our university in Special Student status are not awarded a diploma.

Special Students must pay their tuition / tuition fee to their higher education institution.

The course credit you can take as a Special Student is the maximum amount of credits of the courses in the relevant semester of the program you will be enrolled in.

Special student quotas coming to ITU cannot exceed 3% of the ÖSYS quota of the program for the year of application. There is no quota limitation for students with health problems.
