You can apply online in the first semester / year of your final registration to the undergraduate program, on the dates that will be announced on the  Registrar’s website http://www.sis.itu.edu.tr/eng The list of documents required for adjustment is given in the announcement.

Adjustment procedures are carried out only during your registration to the institution. The adjustment requests to be made in the following periods are not taken into consideration.

The exemption and adjustment procedures are not applied for the courses that do not have equivalent grade in the "ITU Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Grade Conversion Table".

Exemption and adjustment procedures are not applied for the courses studied at the Open Education Faculty.

Except for  Principles of Atatürk and History of Turkish Revolution and Turkish Language courses, exemption may be requested for courses taken up to five (5) academic years ago. This period is also five academic years for foreign language courses.

The number of course credits exempted cannot exceed fifty percent of the total credits of the courses in the course plan of the relevant program.

When/If the courses you have taken and succeeded in your previous diploma program are adjusted, the grades you have previously taken for these courses are recorded on your transcript and added to your GPA.

According to the "ITU Exemption and Adaptation Procedures Grade Conversion Table", courses with CC and higher are adjusted. Courses with DC and DD grades for any course cannot be adjusted.

A course taken in the 30% English program; provided that the course has equal or higher credits and the content is 100% compatible with the course offered in the English program, regardless of whether it is taken in English or not, whether it is compulsory or elective, it will be substituted for the relevant course in the 100% English program.

Yes, you have the right to appeal. You can appeal within a week after your course adjustment report is announced. Objection requests are received online through the web site of Registrar’s Office.

You cannot carry out the exemption and adjustment procedures for the courses taken from a higher education institution previously graduated and used in the graduation average.

Within the scope of the “ITU Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Directive”, the general pool courses with the code of MAT, FIZ, KIM and ING are not adjusted.
